I had a rush job dropped on me this weekend (21FEB09) and needed some studio lighting very quickly and seeing as I normally shoot live music events I also needed some information about how to use it.

I was taken upstairs into one of the studios and given a 15 minute crash course in the basics of studio lighting, positioning and control.

Studio shoots are outside my area of experience and so the starting points and tips I was given were invaluable to me. Especially at such extremely short notice.

I left the shop with a decent setup of 2 Bowens Gemini strobes and a background.

The chap even helped me out to the car !
